About the Cover

Cover Figure

Cover legend: The cerebellum is organized into a complex map of parasagittal stripes of gene expression. In this image double immunostaining shows the complementary patterns of ZebrinII (green) and Plcβ4 (red) in Purkinje cells of the anterior cerebellum in an adult mouse. These patterns are disrupted in mice lacking the homeobox containing genes Engrailed1 and Engrailed2. This montage was assembled by Roy V. Sillitoe and Adrien Demilly. For more information, see the article by Sillitoe et al. in this issue (pages 12150–12162).
